We accept most insurance plans, as well as self-pay patients.
Yes. Our doctors and healthcare professionals provide high quality, compassionate care regardless of insurance coverage. If you are self-pay, you may be eligible for a discount; ask us about this when you arrive.

We also accept self-pay patients (those who do not have health insurance).
For your convenience, we accept cash, checks, credit cards, and Coronavirus Aid Relief and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) funds.
Urgent care covers treatment for a wide variety of acute and chronic illnesses and medical conditions. Some of the most common reasons patients visit urgent care is for treatment of a cough, cold, sinus infection, or injuries such as a sprained ankle, pulled muscle, and cuts or minor wounds.

Yes. Our providers can prescribe medication at the doctor’s discretion.
Yes. We see patients from infancy to the elderly.
Wait times can vary from day to day and even hour to hour. You should expect to wait at least 5-10 minutes after checking in before you are seen by one of our providers.
If you do not have friends or family who can drive you to My Doc Urgent Care, we recommend taking an Uber to 210 Passaic Street, Garfield, NJ 07026.
We offer flu shots and other vaccines as needed.
In addition, there are several things you can do to lessen the likelihood of catching an airborne pathogen like the flu. We recommend:
- Good basic hygiene, such as washing your hands frequently
- Staying away from crowds and heavily populated gatherings
- Maintaining social distance from others
- Regularly replacing your toothbrush
What we can do for you will depend on how long you’ve been sick, the severity of your symptoms, and your overall health and medical history. There are medications that can reduce the severity of your symptoms, address bacterial infection when called for, and help avoid a worsening of your condition.
Things you can do at home to feel better are to rest, stay hydrated, and follow-up as necessary with your doctor.
